February 2008 proved to be an extraordinary time for Ron Frank. Just hours after the completion of a record sale, one of three on the day, he was formally recognised as the 2008 REIQ Business Broker of the Year and in the same week of his 39th wedding anniversary.

The award was assessed by a panel of industry participants based on a number of criteria including:

• Significant business broking achievement
• Commitment to quality customer service
• Service and support to other staff 
• Personal milestones and career goals.

This is incredible recognition of Ron’s performance and contribution to the industry over the last 20 years as a Business Broker, Principal Licensee, Trainer and Mentor. Ron is chairman of the REIQ Business Broker Chapter Committee and a member of the Australian Institute of Business Brokers and writes and delivers a range of training and seminar sessions including:

• “Better Business Broker Practice” series for the REIQ 
• Seminars for members of the National Institute of Accountants
• Seminars for staff and clients of trusted business advisors including organizations such as National Australia Bank and Commonwealth Bank
• Presenter at the 2008 Australian Institute of Business Brokers conference in Sydney
